About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover: Mitotic chromosome spreads of cell suspension of Arabidopsis thaliana. Chromosomes are immunolabeled with anti-phosphorylated histone H3 at Ser10 (green) and anti-HTR12 (red), and stained with DAPI (blue). In the polar view (lower) and the equatorial view (upper) of chromosome spreads, phosphorylated histone H3 appears in the internal parts of the centromeres, whereas a centromeric histone H3 variant, HTR12, localizes at the outer layer. See article by Shibata and Murata (pp. 2963-2970).
