About the Cover
Cover: Skin sections of epidermal-Myc-knockout mice. Control (upper panel) and epidermal-Myc-knockout (lower panel) mice were injected with BrdU to monitor DNA replication. After two hours, back skin biopsies were fixed and paraffin-embedded. Sections were then stained for BrdU (red), keratin K1 (green) and DNA (blue). In the absence of Myc, keratinocytes are able to cycle and differentiate, but the epidermis is thinner and cell and nuclear size are reduced. See article by Zanet et al. (pp. 1693-1704).
