Travelling fellowships |

Journal of Cell Science offers fellowships of up to US$5000 / ?2500 to graduate students and post-docs wishing to make collaborative visits to other laboratories. These are designed to cover the cost of travel and other expenses, and there is no restriction on nationality. Applicants should be working in the field of cell biology and intend to visit another laboratory. Each application is judged on the excellence of the candidate, and the importance and innovative quality of the work to be done. To apply please email the completed application form (as a PDF or Word document), together with the documents specified on the application form to the Editorial Office at: jcs{at}biologists.com When putting your application together, please note the following: * Only one person per laboratory may apply for funding per funding round * You cannot apply to Development, Disease Models and Mechanisms and The Journal of Experimental Biology at the same time as applying for a travelling fellowship from Journal of Cell Science * The date of travel must occur within six months of being awarded funding * We do not provide funds to attend training courses or to purchase equipment * Incomplete application will not be considered Deadlines for applications are 30 April, 31 August and 31 December Download application form in PDF format or Word format |
