Fig. S2. Effects of CKI-7 and SB-431542 on Hes1, Hes5, Hesr1, Hesr2 and Hesr3 in SFEB culture. Mouse ES cells were grown in SFEB culture in the presence of CKI-7 and/or SB-431542 for 5 days, then subjected to real-time PCR analysis. SB-431542 increased the expression levels of Hes5 (B) and Hesr2 (D), but not Hes1 (A), Hesr1 (C) or Hesr3 (E) in SFEB culture. SFEB (−), SFEB culture alone; SFEB+C, SFEB culture combined with CKI-7 treatment; SFEB+S, SFEB culture combined with SB-431542 treatment; SFEB+CS, SFEB culture combined with CKI-7 and SB-431542 treatment. ***P<0.001, compared with SFEB alone (Dunnett's test).
