Fig. S1. (A) Polycarbonate membrane showing migrated cells where MDA-AA (lane 1) showed greater migration than MDA-AA-PHLDA1 (lane 2). MDA-AA cells and MDA-AA-PHLDA1 cells were harvested, counted and allowed to migrate through polycarbonate membrane for 5 hours. Chemotaxis was measured as described in Materials and Methods. (B) A scratch-wound healing assay. In a scratch-wound healing assay the migration of AA-MDA and AA-PHLDA1-MDA was examined. A wound was created in a monolayer of about 90% confluent AA-MDA and AA-PHLDA1-MDA cells using a sterile 10 µl pipette tip. Cell migration pictures were recorded 0 hours, 24 hours and 36 hours using an Olympus BX51 Fluorescence Microscope.
