  • The mitotic stages were determined after chromosome staining (with DAPI) and immunolabelling of the microtubule cytoskeleton (with antibodies against α-tubulin) in control cells (n=102) and in 7-day 23C-γ-tubulin-treated cells (n=429). All confidence intervals (in parentheses) were calculated for a probability of 95%. Data from a representative experiment are presented. Four additional experiments giving comparable results were performed.
