  • RESEARCH ARTICLE
FKBP52 regulates TRPC3-dependent Ca2+ signals and the hypertrophic growth of cardiomyocyte cultures
Sandra Bandleon, Patrick P. Strunz, Simone Pickel, Oleksandra Tiapko, Antonella Cellini, Erick Miranda-Laferte, Petra Eder-Negrin
    Journal of Cell Science 2019 132: jcs231506 doi: 10.1242/jcs.231506 Published 23 October 2019

Summary: The immunophilin FKBP52 directly interacts with TRPC3. A loss of interaction with the functionally intact FKBP52 results in an increased TRPC3 activity and enhanced enlargement of cardiomyocytes.
